It's due to these kinds of bad practices that the regulation will be tightened as the risk factors far outway the benefits.

Yes it does switch automatically if the parameter is specified (01) SOL. I personally use this SRNE inverter and can hence confirm this.

Yesterday while i was busy with an install at a client i was asked by their neighbor if i can have a look and give my opinion on a battery fuse that was getting hot on their lfp battery installed 5 days ago. This is what i found, total botched install poor workmanship incorrect components, safety devices missing( spd's both on dc and ac side.) Solar panels facing south/west but north facing roof not used. 3kva RCT inverter 24v Esener 2.4kwh lfp battery 2 panels( not sure of size and make) no combiner box just normal enclosure with terminals. I have never seen such a poor install. But this is the big hazard that can cause a house to burn down!!!
Incorrect spec on battery cables and fuses. This is a 24v dc system hence double the battery current as 48v dc system. At 3000watts you are drawing 137 amps from the 24v battey and the fuse holder used rated for 32amps AC. Below picture the reason not to ever  use AC breakers or fuses in dc curcuits.

You havent mentioned what make of battey you have. Those inverters are actually quite smart as they pickup your cell configuration as being incorrect hence the error. Try changing your settings to LF08 which indicates 8 strings and needs a constant charge voltage of 28.4v. Your lipo cell configuration is most likely connected 2s2p hence wont work on LF07/09.

Thankyou so much. As soon as i changed to the settings that you recommended the alarm disappeared and the red light stop flashing. I have been struggling with this for the last 3 days. So glad someone could help me.

Minimum of 6mm² from panel frame to earth spike.
    5.4.3 Bonding
5.4.3.1 All the exposed conductive parts of the PV system (i.e., panel frames, cable trays, and
inverter chassis etc) shall be bonded together with a minim cross-section of 6 mm2 copper cable

This will definitely work however by what I can see you only having two strings by having 2s3p which means each parallel connection will require an inline fuse at your branch connector.

    Hi there
The solar panels can only produce what you are using.
You mention your loads are low, this would mean your panels will not produce a lot more than your loads are asking for.
Once your batteries are full in the morning and if your loads are low then the panels production will also be low as there is nowhere for the power to go.
I hope that helps a bit with understanding how the solar works

Unfortunately there is no option in their current software to switch to a light theme. There are two solutions though. You can either uninstall the new version and download and install one of their previous versions or you can download tgpro which has the exact same interface as their older versions but just branded with another company name.

This is a common problem with the datalogger. Its a directional logger and not omnidirectional. I would suggest that you point the logger in the direction of your modem and restart it. Give it about 5 minutes and that should solve your problem.

    Correct.
In the news yesterday they announced a relaxation of the penalties.
You can now complete install ( with no penaties ) as long as you have proof that you have submitted/started the application process with the Coct.

Personally, I'd be happy to feed back at any rate above zero as long as we don't have the BS about having to pay to have the smart meter and the "net consumer" BS too...

CPT Metro has month(s) long backlog on CoCT registration i have already 3 installations in the queue for registration. I believe the penality for non registration is R3000-R5000 but if proved that the application processes has been initiated the penalties would not apply.
