May 15, 20233 yr Hi all, I bought an inverter with a non-BMS lithium battery, the instructions that came with the battery state that the floating voltage should be Off or 0V. Unfortunately the floating voltage on the inverter cannot be switched off. Im wondering if there is some kind of DC voltage regulator or relay I could use? The mac charging Amperage is 80A so of course it will need to handle that, Any ideas?
May 15, 20233 yr Set the float voltage the same as the balance voltage or set all to the same charge voltage as per recommended by the battery manufacturer. Also what is meant by non-bms lithium battery, that does not sound right. Or do you mean the lithium battery cannot do comms with the inverter? Unless it is a simply 3.2V battery, not sure that any inverter can use such a battery. Edited May 15, 20233 yr by WannabeSolarSparky
