May 30, 20233 yr Hi guys I apologize if this has been answered in another topic i have two Deye inverters, each inverter has one string of 10 panels connected to a single mppt controller the pv input range is 370v to 500 v the mppt range is 125v to 425v my panels are 49.35v, so the string has max input voltage of 493.5v the question is does mppt voltage stack to give total voltage (mppt1 + mppt2) if we split panels into two string of 5 panels each and used each mppt total voltage will be 246.75 + 246.75 = 493.5 Is this correct understanding of mppt and pv max input specifications for Deye hybrid inverter?

No the understanding is not correct. The 500V is based on Voc at the lowest possible temperature and not added up. 10 is very risky as it looks OK at 25 degrees but will exceed 500V at say 10 degrees. Rather use 5 per MPPT.
