June 5, 20233 yr Hi All. The weekend I installed an Esener 5.5kw inverter with a Esener 5.12KWH Battery. I don't get any communication between the inverter and battery. After some searching I came across this video. It looks like the battery is set to communicate with CAN and the inverter on RS-485. This should be an easy fix if I can find the software used in the video. Does anyone have experience with this or a link to the software?
September 25, 20232 yr search for TOPBMS 6.1 software. it works with that type of BMS. From the factory that BMS is locked to some ZDFA protocol in RS485 and CAN and not all inverters are working with it. Edited September 25, 20232 yr by DM_UA
September 27, 20232 yr Contact Esener directly, they willl send you the required software. The software tool is called BMS Tool V2.M
September 27, 20232 yr Just give esener a call, 010 449 9686, with different inverter it uses different protocols, remember to set your CAN protocol to Pylantech. If you dont get it right, i think the technician can help you with remote control and help you to set it up. But it is a very simple process.
