I'm using a 6.8Kva Schubart inverter with a 48V, 5.5KWh Lithium Ion Battery without solar panel, I'm using the utility to charge the battery. When the battery is fully charged, it raises a "08 Fault(Inverter Bus Voltage too high)"and immediately disconnects the load. What may be the cause of this fault? And how can I resolve it? May you kindly assist in resolving this fault. Thank you.

May you kindly assist in resolving this fault. Thank you. Hi @Mothami welcome to the forum. I assume this Scubart is a cloned or rebranded Voltronics (Axpert). If not let me know. First question, do you have bms comms between battery and inverter. If not what are your charge current settings, and what are the bulk and float charge voltage settings.? Also what is model and make of your battery.? The reason I am asking above questions, is because there is a slight chance that at the tailend of the charge cycle, one or more battery cells goes over the high voltage threshold, causing the bms to open its charge FET. This is like disconnecting the battery abruptly, which may cause stability issues in the inverter charger. Its a long shot, but not to be overlooked as a possible cause. February 6, 20251 yr Hi, sorry for necroposting but I have exactly the same issue and I don't know why. I have an Infinisolar V II wp 5kw inverter, since I mounted the battery I got this issue. I have a uhome lfp 5000. bulk and float voltage set to 55.2V. Every time batteries are at 100% (at the float voltage i guess) the inverter raises a "08 Fault(Inverter Bus Voltage too high)"and immediately disconnects the load. Could someone give me the last firmware for my Inverter? I tried ti contact Voltronic but they did not answer me, i May also try to mod It buy I Guess i Need the last One as a starting point.
