June 26, 20233 yr Hi guys, I currently have 2 x Greenwich WM5000 batteries, connect to an 8kw Sunsynk inverter with 10 x 460W JA Solar Panels: Capacity: 4954WH Power: 7500W Discharging Rate: 1.5C Rated Voltage: 51.2V Normal Capacity: 96.6Ah , 4.95kWh Charge Mode: CC/CV/CP Max. Charge Current: 80A Charging cut-off voltage: 57.4V Discharge Mode: CC/CP Discharge cut-off voltage: 44.8V Max. Discharge Current: 150A (1.5C continuous) Peak Discharge Current: 350A (100ms) Humidity: 5% to 95% Relative Humidity (Non-condensing) At the moment, we're using the batteries as more of a backup for load shedding than store n use later as we currently don't have enough batteries - yet. Is there a guideline that I can follow regarding battery use for supplementary purposes? EG: I have 1 geyser turned on (on the CT) and the batteries are supplementing the load - is this a bad idea?
