Axpert Mks 3kva 24v

Featured Replies

Hello I'm new here. Please can the Axpert Mks 3kva 24v work with tubular batteries like the luminous lt500 2x 12v 220ah batteries. I have been hearing that they won't charge well. I know there will be problems with equalization but still cant seem to understand why it won't charge at least till float. Thanks

I had some trouble finding a charge voltage for this. It seems you should not charge at less than 15.5V in the absorption phase, which is 31V on a 24V system. This is the point where this particular inverter cuts out. As I recall, it won't let you get close to 30V on charging. So it seems what you heard is right: this is probably not a good combination.
