October 2, 20232 yr Hello I've got 2 Growatt SPF 5000 ES, i want to connect them to a parallel mode, single phase output. The question is, can i feed in each of the units with different phase from the grid, or they should be feed in with the same phase of the grid? One phase will not be enough to me. if not possible to use 2 different phases, is it possible to configure the 2 units to work with 2 phase system also for the output (instead of 3)? Thanks Arthur
October 2, 20232 yr You won't be able to sync them from 2 phases,you can run them as 2 seperate inverters on 2 phases but this isn't making sense,how won't a single phase be enough? Or is the issue you need to back up 2 phases?
October 2, 20232 yr Author the feed in phases are 23A 230V each. the loads is about 10KW, so in order to provide it i need to use 2 23A phases of 3.

October 3, 20232 yr Author Running Split Phase mode (not connecting the Current Sharing cable) thanks for your answer. just to be sure, i feed in each inverter with different phase (240V each phase) of the grid and on the output of both inverters i will get a single phase of 240V that i can combine in to a one switch? PS my Growatt 5000 es is Europe version, not US

This makes zero sense because the solar system is connected to a sub panel that connected with thin cables that i can't replace. so i guess that i need to configure the two units as a 3 phase system but without the third phase inverter
October 3, 20232 yr Are you confusing multiple inputs and multiple phases possibly? Or is the Main DB 3 phase and has 3 phases into your Sub DB?
