8KW Sunsyk + 10KW battery?

Featured Replies

Hi, relatively new the forum, so just seeking some advice,

Looking to get the following
1x Sunsynk Sun 8kW Hybrid Inverter
1x Sunsynk Battery LFP Wall Mount 10.65kWh
8x 500W panels

Just a question regarding the discharge rate of the battery. If I were to be drawing around 6500W for more than 25min, would there be issues?
I see the Max discharge is 10kW, however I'm, just wanting to know the long-term impact of this/risk?

Thanks

At 6500w ac load (28.5 amps)  you will be drawing 150 amps from the battery and it is rated for max 200 amps 10000watts. The nominal discharge would be 100 amps or 5000watts. The battery module is capable of 150a discharge without any risk it might just influence the battery longevity if constantly discharged at that rate, always better to endeavor to discharge low as possible to save the battery life. Same applies for charging just remember the deeper the battery is discharged the longer the time needed to charge at a decent charging rate.
