We have just moved into a new house, with a Hybrid Inverter, 8 panels and a battery. On Friday the Eskom power shut off for some reason, I reported a fault and it was repaired today. Now for some reason the eskom utility power is running my "non inverter items" such as my oven, pool pump and gate. But independently. My eskom power is not feeding through to my plugs & lights or to my battery. Earlier this evening my plugs & lights went out, because my battery had depleted but I still have my oven, gate and pool.

Lastly, the eskom meter at the inverter / battery is off and not reporting a reading. My questions is, how could this happen? Is it a wiring issue? Do I report to Eskom, call the electrician who did the COC or report it to the solar installer?

@Mike B1990 hi would you be able to post a picture of the front/inverter screen. It sounds like your db is split into essentials and non essentials. Since the non essentials are working that means the inverter is not.

If you have a transfer switch just switch for Eskom to also feed all the circuits on the inverter. It seems you have a problem on the inverter. It could be only settings.
