Hi guys,

Can anyone offer any specs or equivalents for the TVS diodes as per the photo ?

Any Info would be much appreciated

@Cuan Those seem to be BrightKing products. They don't make finding a part easy. You will have to download their part documents and look for the specific markings. I think the BHP will be the marking you look for. Its a mission.

Thanks for the feedback @TheMac. Some further investigation shows they are SMCJ160AC or SMCJ180AC. This may help other techs.

@Cuan What fascinates me is the dirty look of the solder on those and the four what I can only assume are through-pins. Is that oxidation or did something burn in the area or the components themselves?

The 160V ones are probably a better fit, closer to the max input voltage of the MPPT board.

I don't have experience on TVSs but side-by-side those specs seem to match even dimensions seem to correlate. The BrightKing datasheet does not mention solder pad sizes but connector pins beneath do match in size.

As a matter of interest; measure the size of the components on the board with a vernier and see if they match.

@TheMacI am told the board was taken out some time ago, so that was a build up of dirt. The photo was sent to me

@TheMac Yes I did ..same size . Its listed as a DO214AB SMD package .. 6,8 x 6.2 mm ..Hope this helps some other member ? Thanks for the feedback
