January 23, 20242 yr Hello Team. I have put a new battery pack Basengreen 51,2 Volt 120 Ah to the Growatt inverter SPF 5000 ES and the inverter when the battery goes under 25% the buzzer sings with 04 fault of battery low voltage.I guess this issue comes from the high float voltage in the settings of inverter(20) which is at 56.3 volt and i cannot change it to normal 54.4 volt due to "Li" battery mode.Charging voltage(19) is also at 56,3 volt. Any ideas????? Thank you in advance. January 23, 20242 yr Seems like the incorrect Protocol is applied. Which Protocol options were supplied by the battery manufacturer? Which Protocol are you applying? My suggestion would be to switch to USE2 mode and set the voltages according to the battery specs before your battery deteriorates as a result of the high voltages until you can get clarity on the correct Protocol.

If it goes away when the sun comes up and the battery starts charging then there is nothing to do. BTW lithium does not float it simply stops charging. Edited January 23, 20242 yr by Buyeye
January 23, 20242 yr You could just turn off the buzzer. I remember I used to use mine as a wake up alarm because the inverter was inside. Until I turned it off. Edited January 23, 20242 yr by Buyeye
January 23, 20242 yr Author Yes i could turn it off but i want to use the batetry at its best so it will last longer...

Enjoy your new system, I had the same inverter previously and it works with no fuss when the bms connection works. SUB mode comes in handy in bad weather, I used to let the battery get low and use the grid to charge it which was quite a hassle if you forgot what time is loadshedding. Now I just set the battery depth of discharge to one that I think I can get through loadshedding with until the forecast says it will be sunny.
