January 30, 20242 yr Has anybody done this, or considered adding a 16th cell to the 15 cell unit? I have no idea if this is possible, if there is space inside, nor if the BMS will allow a 16th cell. All I do know is that the screen shows the voltages of the 15 cells, and actually shows the 16th cell but no data. At this stage all academic of course, but if it can be done safely, I'll seriously consider it.
February 5, 20242 yr Most things are possible, but it might not be economical. S-Volt have not answered my mails on BMS information. Rather sell the 15 cell and buy the 16 cell version. Or a brand that has more backup service.
