@Hanno If your inverter is still under warrantee, and of course you have the installation photos, the C.O.C., the installer's registered qualifications, your grandson's birthplace and unabridged birth certificate, SARS certificate of good stead, your credit rating not older than 3 hours, certified by your local police station, your bank manager as well as your local postmaster.....I'm being sarcastic, apologies, but if you satisfy the warrantee requirements my suggestion would be to contact Luxpower local for some support. It looks like they are Johannesburg. [email protected] Even if you are no longer/not under warrantee, contact them still and see if they can give you some pointer to look at.

@Hanno From what you explained my system is set up very similar to yours. My connections run as follow. 1. Eskom supply OC main 2. EL 3a Stove & Geyser 3b Inverter 4. EL 5. House supply DB I also occasionally have the EL between the Inverter and the DB feeding the house (No. 4) tripping at/after loadshedding. Happens maybe once a month. That EL unit is brand new.

SVolt 15 cell to 16 cell
Has anybody done this, or considered adding a 16th cell to the 15 cell unit? I have no idea if this is possible, if there is space inside, nor if the BMS will allow a 16th cell. All I do know is that the screen shows the voltages of the 15 cells, and actually shows the 16th cell but no data. At this stage all academic of course, but if it can be done safely, I'll seriously consider it.

svolt 48v battery cell balancing
It should do so within a week. I'm running 2 of the same batteries. One for 2 months, and the 2nd for a week now. Before connecting the 2nd, I made sure that both batteries were fully charged. After 1 week of running, all 30 cells were within 0.002v, each battery cells within 0.001v

Splitting ESCOM feed?
I need some advice please. I'm running a Luxpower SNA5000 with a SVolt 106Ah LiFePo4 battery. On occassion the Luxpower is not powerful enough to feed the house when including the stove and geyser. What is the best wiring to run the geyser and stove ONLY off escom. I'm thinking the following: From the mains 60A overcurrent, split to two earth leaks. One for the stove and geyser with no link to the rest of the DB. One for the rest of the house The earth should be common throughout including the inverter? This should work shouldn't it? Comments welcome please. Good or bad.
