February 9, 20242 yr I use Solar Assistant to monitor my 5KW DEYE Inverter, CFE5100S 5kw battery & 5x450w panels. Solar Assistant works fine for monitoring but I am having some issues with the Inverter/battery setup and am busy lining up assistance from CFE and DEYE. In order to facilitate this assistance I need to ensure that both battery and inverter are directly accessible via the internet for troubleshooting and/or firmware updating etc. I appear to be winning with what app to use and how I will get the CFE batteries connected. I am not yet winning on the DEYE front. Can anyone give me a steer as to what app/method is best for direct connection to the DEYE inverter? Any guidance greatly appreciated. S-gate
February 9, 20242 yr The standard Solarman dongle should be fine. as long as the network is on has internet access (and its streaming info to the Deye / Solarman cloud) that should be al the techs need
