Hope I'm posting in the correct place 😉

So to get things started I needed to get something for all the load shedding. So I really didn't know much. All I needed to be powered was my TV, internet, PC and maybe a charger or 2. That is it, no fridges, etc. just to keep me busy in the down time.

I bought a combo at solar warehouse in the 7th month last year and It worked perfectly until now. I never had it above 15% load and never went down to 60% battery. Now suddenly it barely lasts an hour with 5% load just watching TV, then the battery is almost dead. Shows 2 bars but not powering anything.

The setup I got back then was the following: 2 x 200ah 12v deep cycle gel batteries that run at 24v in series. Yeah I know gel not great but at the time was what I could afford. Inverter was a 5KVA pure sine wave 5000 watt. I have added the picture.

I would like to know what is the best way forward from here on in. I have attached 2 batteries that I think are correct for me but I would need better advice.

Would these be good options and would I need 2 of each or do I go for 1 but which is as strong as 2 of the above.

Hi, you could get away with just 1 of the Svolts as that is 24v battery, the second option you need 2 as they are 12v but you going to get more runtime on the second option but at more cost. I would go the first option and see if it last for your needs, you could add at a later stage if need be.  You might be fine with just 1.

After some time and careful thinking I thought this might be a good option. What are your thoughts compare to the 1st options I gave.

I would 10 times rather go for the SVolt in option 1 than any Fivestar. 

Just my own view.
