January 14, 20197 yr Hi iam an old member. I am looking for a inverter without batters say 3kw to drive a pool pump. my jaccusie has a seperate power feed with its own DB board from my house. I want to drive the pump from its own inverter and PVS but with no batteries. Any suggestions
January 14, 20197 yr The simplest solution would be a grid tied inverter like the Solis range. If the jacuzzi's pump comes on, effectively the Solis will supply via the house DB. If the jacuzzi is off then the rest of the house benefits. Just make sure of your local regulations ito going grid tied, IF this idea make sense.

Therein my suggestion to look at a Solis Inverter, it needs no batteries, must be connected to a DB board, with enough panels to power said DB. I don't see any other way. Unless someone else has an idea? I presume you have a Axpert or similar i.e. nothing grid tied? The Solis can replace the Axpert, the Axpert becoming a UPS for dedicated circuits and the entire house and jacuzzi benefits from the solar panels.

If it only runs during the day it should not use battery power. IMO, since you already have solar power for your house, enlarging the existing system would be a bit more cost effective than installing a whole new system. Goodwe inverters can run without batteries as well as the Solis inverters.
