February 27, 20242 yr I have 18 panels, 2 x 5kw Deye Inverters and 4 hubble batteries. My master inverter is set to 'zero export to load'. It was set to 'zero export to CT', but then the prepaid meters would register my solar input, as electricity purchased. My installer insists that I need 2 new prepaid meters as my meters are 'old' (installed 2001). eskom guys say my meters are fine. has anybody else had this issue, or can assist me in understanding what is going wrong? almost a year now, and my installation feels unsuccessful.
February 27, 20242 yr @TarynR if you inverter is set to 'zero export to CT' how much does the prepaid meter register? It is possible that your CT is the wrong way around and the inverter is trying to send more power than what it should, to try and get no reading from the CT and thus actually exporting to the grid... ?
