BSL Battery SOC stuck

Featured Replies

I have 2 x 8.8kw BSL batteries installed at my place, thats running through a Sunsynk inverter.
I've had the system installed in Feb23 with no issues since.

However, this past Sunday, one of the batteries have just been stuck on 80% SOC.
Its not charging or discharging. (the other battery is working perfectly fine)

I've tried the recommended 'shutdown and startup' process that was recommended in another forum, but there's no change.

Has anyone experienced anything similar, or can suggest how I can go about troubleshooting this issue?

Not sure why I haven't thought of doing this yet - thanks, will give it a go tonight.

Do I need to change any cables/dipswitches before I try to just run the one battery?

Do those batteries have LED indicator lights for the charge level? If so, is that indication also stuck?

Yes, your slave battery once targeted as primary stand alone will need to be changed to be the primary via the dip switch.
