March 18, 20242 yr Good day, I have an Existing installation with 2 Dyness BX51100 batteries. I recently installed a 3rd Dynes BX51100. I just need some assistance with the Battery settings. Please see pictures and advice if anything needs to be changed or is settings correct. March 18, 20242 yr Hi, untick the 'Activate' box and i would suggest to increase the charge and discharge values. The batt specifications suggest a charge/discharge value of 50A. You can thus safely increase the values to 150A for the 3 batteries. The BMS would manage the charging/ discharging amperages according to the parameters of the battery design and chemistry. March 18, 20242 yr Hi G, this option will help to recover a battery that's been discharged beyond it's lowest threshold by activating a slow charge mode from either the grid or PV. It is mainly for AGM, flooded or Gel batteries, not lithium. The BMS controls lithium.
