April 14, 20242 yr Hi There I'm new to the forum and looking to do a basic solar installation to cover lights, TV, etc (Minor appliances) I found a company advertising on Facebook called "Your Solar System" who has below package R65 500. 8 * 550w Canadian Solar panels 1*5kWH lithium Iron battery 1* 5KVA Luxpower invertor Cables, connections, AC DB board, installation, programming and coc. I would like a system that I can add batteries and panels onto at a later stage so would probably be better to go straight with an 8kva invertor. 1. Has anyone used this company or can confirm they reliable? 2. Thoughts on this setup and pricing? 3. Can I get a similar setup but instead get the 8kva or better to add another 5 kva when I upgrade? Thanks in advance Raf
April 18, 20242 yr Hey Rafeeq, 1. Has anyone used this company or can confirm they reliable? > Have not heard of this company myself. 2. Thoughts on this setup and pricing? > sounds too good to be true? 3. Can I get a similar setup but instead get the 8kva or better to add another 5 kva when I upgrade? > I chose 2 x 5kVa inverters for my setup for a few reasons...for redundancy, for having access to 10000w of draw power available and for future costs of adding or having to replace. You will need to add the same size inverter if you want to add, so if you go with 8kVa you will have to add an 8kVa to it you can't mix the sizes. Have you gotten any alternative pricing on the system you want from other more well known suppliers?

Never used them before, so cannot comment, but pricing is pretty good all over at the moment. Give Powerforumstore a call, they might even be cheaper, and at least they have a great reputation for service and price. https://powerforum-store.co.za/
