Volta Stage 1/Deye Help

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone, hoping someone can assist.

I tried looking for previous posts on the topic, but I haven’t found a solution as yet.

I had a 5kw Deye and Volta Stage 1 installed 2 months ago, all worked perfect for about a month. Added panels a week ago. The SOC started dropping by ~1% per week after the first month, now sitting “stable” at 93%.

I’ve read something regarding “SOC drift” on the Volta Stage 1’s and that a software update may fix it. Problem is that I’m really unhappy about my installers knowledge around this and he’s just not getting back to me to fix it…

Please see the installation and photos of the settings here:

You assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, refer to this thread :

2.  The protocol as per your inverter UI shows BMS - Pylon protocol

Just check your settings on "Time of Use'  Your current settings keep your battery at 100% 24/7 and do not allow for back-up ( perhaps your requirement was to keep the batteries at 100% all the time and not use them for supply during the night)
