I upgraded the firmware, hoping it would solve an issue I had with the battery.

In the afternoons, once my battery is fully charged, I use my excess solar power to heat my koi pond. I automatically switch off the heater once the battery's state of charge (SOC) is 94%. But what happened was that the SOC stayed at 94%, although the battery still had a good charge.

Unfortunately, the upgrade didn't help. Today the SOC actually went down from 94% to  93%.

I have upgraded my battery, the version now is B68.6.0.0 (23-07-07)

I received the bin file from PylonTech.

I have B68.8.0.0 on my newer US3000Cs, anyone having the files, and could share them? I would like to update the older ones as well.

edit:

to be more precise on the production date and software + board of the 4 pylontechs:

Older 2:
Production: 20221027
Board: NF4.E2
Board Version: V10R04
Main Soft Version B69.13.1.0
Soft Version 1.7
Boot version 1.0
Comm version 2.0
Release Date:220825

Newer 2:
Production: 20240812
Board: not showing
Board Version: V10R04
Main Soft Version B68.8.0.0
Soft Version 3.0
Boot version 2.1
Comm version 2.0
Release Date:240725

Since version numbering is not as consistant as one would expect. What is the latest recommended version to run on all 4?

sorry for the lack of information on my earlier question

Are you sure those are correct? They don't seem to tie up with current thinking. Perhaps Pylontech are trying to confuse us. it may be worth posting part of your serial numbers that show if you have old chip, new chip or a version we have not yet come across.
