July 25, 20242 yr Good day all, I hope someone can shed some light on my query below. I got a 3rd Solar MD 14.3 and a 3rd Victron Multiplus II 48/5000 installed in January 2024 the BMS was faulty and only repaired in May 2024. My initial installation was done November 2022 which consists of 2 x 14.3 Solar MD, 2 x Victron 48/5000 Multiplus II and Victron MPPT RS 450/200 with 11.2kw solar panels. The new battery does not discharge or charge at the same rate as my older 2 batteries. The installer assured me the cables are of the same length. I have 3 x Victron 48/5000 Multiplus II to charge the batteries from Eskom and Victron MPPT RS 450/200 with 11.2kw of solar panels. Is this normal that the newer battery will charge and discharge at a different rate? Capacity % is always different to what my older 2 batteries indicate, current in and out is aslo different. I have the Solar MD logger and I am able to view device history charts.
