August 10, 20241 yr Hi, im fairly new into solar system. Setup 2 x voltronic axpert max 10k, 2 x 4.8kwh nimac battery, 16 x 550w panels all of the installation is done by myself. With solar assistant in pi5, waiting on the BMS cable….. my question is: i have 8 to pv1 and 8 to pv2 in series. Its better this way? It would be better to connect 4 en series and 2x4 parallel? I have 6mm2 solar cables.

I have 6mm2 solar cables. Leave them in series. Parallel you have higher current which means double the voltage drop over the cables.

August 11, 20241 yr About 3 week ago I install more solar panels and decides to play around with the combination series and parallel in the end series was best so I also say series if you can
