  1. Hi i just installed 8x200a batteries with jk bms, but im having trouble to get it to work with solar assistant. i have the ftdi adapter, but i cant get it to work, the manual of solar assistant doesnt help much, anybody know the trick? i have the dip switch according to the manual but thats it. Please help.
  2. Hi, can you point me in the right direction for firmware update?? I allready power cycle the inverters and the problem remains, as soon as i have any solar production the inverters charge from the grid until a force them to go to SBU
  3. Still with the same problem, i have tried everything, any ideas?? Thanks!
  4. I found another strange thing, this happend only when solar is in play, today was a very cloudy day so i stay only in utility mode, and now at night the inverters respect the rule of 2amp each for 1-2, 3-4 no charge
  5. The only thing i could find about timer for charger was setting 100. But the 4 inverters are the same, CSO,SNU,OSO at 00:00
  6. Thanks a lot i will check the per hour problem. when i press the arrows on the inverter Says: U18206 U22221 U30000 Solar assistant says firmware 82.06 All the inverters are the same
  7. Everyday this happend at 7:31 am, i cant get a workaround this
  8. Hi i have 4 axpert max 10kw and these days they started acting strange. I have for inverter 1 and 2 , solar and utility and inverter 3 and 4 solar only, but around 7:30 am the inverters 3 and 4 start charging from utility with 15amps each i try everything i can think of, power cycle all the inverters and nothing, this started to happend after 2 days of power outage. I can seem to block the utility charge from inverter 3-4, before 7:30am works fine only inverter 1-2 charge with 2amp each. I have 8 batteries Pace BMS all connected to a busbar. Solar assistant and home assistant. All the inverters connected to solar assistant. Any ideas???? Also i have the 90v problem but there is no support to update the firmware here in Chile.
  9. 3 x 10kw inverters in parallel. A lot of solar panels, 6x100amp bat, 4 houses. Just starting but getting better every month, im waiting for six more batteries. All manage with automation throw home assistant, one irradiance sensor, a lot lot lot of hours hahaahaah, but im happy. Here en Chile is quite expensive these days.
  10. Yes they are lithium 100Ah - 4.8Kw they are 4.8 Kw, at 0.2 i charge them just fine within the day, i have 16 x 550w and 28 x 585 solar panels installed, and 3 inverters ( this setup is to mantain 4 houses im not cooking meth ahhahaha )
  11. Thanks!!!
  12. Hi, everywhere says recommended max charging, but the lower you can is better??? I have 6 x 100amps, and i have 20k solar panels, its almost summer here so i have a lot of sun, im currently charging at 0.3 C, i know its safe but my questio is to better charge at 0.5 C? Or the lower the better??
  13. That good!! Btw i have 6 packs connected to busbar and SOC also is not always the same, sometimes one have more than the other ones and sometimes less
  14. Hi there! What a journey hahaha. A litlle advice, batteries should be stuck together, when charge/discharge is high they could produce some heat, check the temp values reported by the BMS, also i see cable lenght are not the same. Maybe is 25mm2? Right? Your inverter shouldnt draw more than a 100Amps, otherwize it will produce a lot of heat, for more than 2 or 3 batteries i would go directly to busbars. Just some advice! Nice clean install btw
  15. Great! 35mm2 for 185 amps i think is a little to short, you could produce a lot of heat there. If the 185 are constant. I use 70mm2 for max of 200amp and works like a charm. you could try connecting like this: inverter + to master battery + to slave battery + inverter - to slave battery - to master battery - like the picture attached…. if in the future you are planning adding more batteries, i would go with busbar right away, you would need 2 busbar ( + - ) rated for the max discharge current you would use. inverter in the middle of both batteries. And just like someone told me, the effects are not instant, i could take several days to work correctly. also i cant see exactly by the pictures but check for any washer beneath the terminals. Also everything has to be thight.
  16. Hi! I was having a similar problem, not exact but similar. The problem was overheating and bad connection. You have 400Ah, but some information is missing so we can help. cable size from the inverter to master battery? Also cable size for the “parallel”? max discharge amps setting on your inverter? the charge and float are according to the manufacturer specs? are you connecting both + and - to the master battery? Or + to master battery and - to slave?
  17. Hi there, i have 3 axpert max 10kW. They are on 82.06. The Mppt says 90v-450v and max 500v VOC right? But i connected 9 585W and SA was showing around 400V but at soon as the voltage goes to higher than 400v the inverter goes offline for a few seconds and come back on its own, so i took 1 panel out of the string and now its working fine. Could be a firmware issue??
  18. Thanks a lot for the advice on voltages. I changed the charge to 52.5 and float 51.8, also i have shutdown at 45.5, back to battery at 50 and back to grid at 48 is this correct?? Charging is at 60amps per inverter so 0.2C the inverters are connected to one side of the busbar an all the batteries follow. So the best connection will be the 3 inverters in the middle and 3 batteries one side and 3 on the other side? the 3 inverters have their own 70mm2 cable to the busbar, with the same length and the batteries are connected with 25mm2 to the busbar also with the same lenght also keep in mind this connection was made yesterday, cause you say that it eill take weeks before the modules to balance thanks again
  19. Hi, i have 3 axpert max ii in parallel, currently only 2 are working. I have 6 100amp batteries ( china ), this morning i woke up and see that one inverter is on error 04, low battery voltage , but i have 30% of soc still. I read somewhere to set 29 to 45.5v but it still showing error 04. also i notice that the first batterie is a little bit off with the others. I have them all connected to a busbar
  20. Hi, i found the problem in my setup, do cause i have different load, the sharing load cable should not be connected. i allways said to everybody else always read the manual full, well i didnt read it all of it. i need to do it like this in order nothave the error. 3 days and no error still
  21. Hi Coulomb, i have both invertes in paralell so i can share the battery bank. But the have different load and different AC input. The system works great, but i seem to found the problem. When you are in SBU and you are consuming more than the solar and battery can give you, the system doesnt get a third input involve ( grid ). I connect the system to solar assistant and home assistan a looking into the graphs i realize this. I have only 4.400 kw per inverter now so when the load exceed this it will drain battery right? But i had the inverters at 130amp max discharge current and then go to grid, but when solar is high and batteries are full, the system doesnt go the grid. Next month i will be installing more panels to get to 10k each inverters then im sure that the problem will go away.
  22. Was a bad board. The change it for free, thankfully, so now im running fine. But getting sometimes error 72
  23. Any body found the solution? I have the same problem that happend twice, different conditions. Once was when i first connected the inverters in parallel, and then happend one day, with grid, with solar and a 100% soc. Only one inverter get into fault mode 72. I have to completly shut off both inverters to get the error gone and one thing i notice is that: my starting procedure was. turn on batteries, turn on grid, turn on PV, and the flip the load switch. As soon as i hit the second load switch that one goes into error 72, so i start again the turn on procedure, but this time i turn both load when the inverter was on the countdown to start, and magic i have power i both inverters. my sytem is 2 axpert max ii 10kw, 2 grid , 2 loads, same battery pack. If anyone has any idea for this, would be great
  24. Thanks a lot, i took it to service yesterday, so i will wait and see what happend there
  25. Now you are scaring me! Hahahaa, here is the pic
