October 22, 20241 yr Hi everyone 😀 I am planning to migrate my solar installation to an Axpert inverter for more reliability. The one i bought is a king 3kw par-a in 24V (picture in attachements). I am planning to upgrade the firmware to have lithium BMS support. I have searched in the downloads section and found firmwares for 48V model or others firmwares without information about the 48V or 24V model Someone can help me about this ? I don't want to flash a incorrect firmware for brick my inverter Cheers 😉
October 23, 20241 yr Please always post your original firmware version numbers. IF and ONLY IF your original main firmware version is 51.xx where x is 70 or more, or 52.yy where yy is < 10, then the latest firmware for the Axpert King 1 3 kW that I know of is 52.01. You can use any of the 5 kW display firmwares for the King 1 or the VM III (older versions, not the 4 kW or 6 kW models), such as display firmware version 02.87. This is factory main firmware version 52.01 for the Axpert King 1 3 kW. Do not confuse with other firmwares in the 52.xx range, such as Axpert VM IV 5.6 kW, some Infinisolar models, and some very old 5 kW PF0.8 firmwares from around 2012. Do not use with other models, not even other King models. I believe that all King models use the same '28066 DSP chip. The hex file is dated 17/2/2024. Use at your own risk. Firmware upload instructions for models with a removable display. RAR file password is 111. AxpertKING_3KW_STANDARD_52.01 pw 111.rar
October 28, 20241 yr Author Hi @Coulomb Here is my firmware version. I will try to upgrade the firmware next day with the one you provided. One question : For lithium battery without BMS communication what profile i should use on my Axpert King ? Thanks

I have used the RS232 cable for upgrade. If new firmare upgrade (72.xx) could be ported on my inverter i can be useful 😁 (i could do some tests on my inverter if required ) Hope that in future the Jiabaida BMS (JBD) protocol could be implemented in the MCU firmware (should be useful because the BMS always cut off the output before the inverter low voltage cut off, so i have to reactivate manualy the battery ) Edited October 30, 20241 yr by fhocorp add more info in the message
