November 17, 20241 yr Good day, thank you for accepting me to the forum. I bought a 2nd hand system ie 10x450wJA panel, a Kodak OG 5.48kw inverter and a Sirius Capacitor module 3 5kw. Anybody using this battery? Thank you.

At first glance a capacitor looks like an ideal battery - no liquid, no chemistry, just plates insulated from each other, maintaining electrostatic charge. However there is a huge problem: the voltage to SOC curve. It's physics, a straight line from 0V at 0 SOC to 100% voltage at 100% SOC. Inverters cannot handle this. If one wants to use it say from 46V to 56V it can only use about 20% of its theoretical capacity. I don't know how manufacturers do define the capacity they sell. Is it the theoretical capacity or the usable capacity?
