Sunsynk - Screen permanently on?

Featured Replies

Hey all,

New "issue" started about a week ago now, the Master's screen is no longer going into sleep mode. It is now permanently on...

I tried unselecting and selecting the "Auto Dim Sec" option a few times and that has not worked.

There'z zero issue with PV generation, load supply, battery supply...all metrics are normal and that includes the Normal light indicator.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before?

This is the replacement system installed on the 18th Nov and no issues since then, besides this screen now staying on all the time...

I have not yet "rebooted" the system...its the holidays and everyone is at home and most importantly support will be in short supply...I dont feel like tempting everyone's BFF - Murphy.

I'll do the reboot into the new year...whats the saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

Having same issue. Only noticed today but may have started sooner. Has there been an auto update patch where this issue was introduced?

Also noticed a similar issue with my 8 kW Sunsynk. The screen seems to end up on the date/time settings page and stay on. Need to check whether firmware version changed from last requested update.  System installed 2 years ago, only noticed this a week or two ago.

Wanted to check firmware version this morning and noticed screen was off.  Left the screen on and it switched off again.  So problem appears to be gone. Firmware seems relatively old, so screen issue apparently not due to updated version: M 6.0.2.2 S 1.7.2.4 CE 4.2.A

Hey guys, I did a full shutdown of the system and batteries…gave it a full 2-3min in an “Off” state and then started everything up again. LCD now goes to sleep after a few mins, issue resolved.

Been on firmware: M 3.3.8.6 / S 1.5.1.5 / C E.4.3.D since the 18th November.
