February 7, 20251 yr Hi , I need a little help I replaced 2 old 100ah gel batteries about a week ago At the time of replacing I didnt notice if the LED lights were blinking or not I did not attach the Battery equalizer leads in any particular order Today I noticed the LED lights were not blinking After Googling I see the leads need to be attached in a sequence. I undid the connections and reconnected the battery in the correct order. You can also use the amp scale of a multimeter to measure what current is flow between them if they are not at the same voltage. Lastly the easy way would be if you have a DC clamp meter and measure on the red wire Sorry to hear you did not pay attention to the polarity of the wires. As with about ALL things electrical this is key. I notice it is shown on the unit which wire goes where.
February 7, 20251 yr Author I mimicked the exact same polarity connections as they were originally I did not however attach the battery equalizer leads in the particular sequence mentioned in the link shared in the original post

Apply load( 60w 12v automotive head lamp bulb) to the pos&neg of one of the batteries and one of the led's should turn on if balancer is functional.
