May 31, 20251 yr That "2361 -00G" is on a 44 pin chip, very likely an MC9S08AC48 (48k flash) or possibly the 60k flash version. These Solar Charge Controller firmwares seem to appear way less frequently than others, and the lower power models' firmware seems less available in general.I have no 23.xx firmware at all in my collection. I'd say that your only options are to try to find a replacement SCC (MPPT) board from whoever sold the inverter, or try to find one on Ebay or the like.As a point of interest, what is the nature of the "damage" that requires a firmware update?I'm not even sure of the low power models have a method of updating the SCC firmware at all. I also have no idea what the JTAG interface for this chip is (I'm guessing that it involves CN3 at the top right of your photo). If you have a similar known good board, it may be possible to copy the firmware from good to bad or new blank chip via JTAG, but that would only be the case if they didn't bother password protecting the firmware.
