Off grid farm plus pivot irrigation

For domestic I used 8kW victron Multiplus II with a 250/85 charge controller and 8x555 Wp panels and 3 eTower batteries.

For the Pivot I used 36 x 555 Wp panels in 2x 18 strings on EM Heater solar VSD’s. 1 11 kW vsd for a 9.2kW borehole pump and a second vsd 15kW (over sized to handle dol wheel supply) for the pivot drive.

1 string of 18 of the pivot panels has dual function with a change over to a 5 kW Fronius on the Multiplus (ac coupled). When pivot is not running, the fronius soaks up early and late solar.
