11 hours ago11 hr Hi Everyone, I'm based in the UK (we do occasionally see the sun :-) ) and took the plunge and had solar system with Pylontech batteries installed a couple of years ago. We have now got an Electric vehicle (and charger) and are planning on adding an additional battery. I have also moved us onto the "Octopus Intelligent go" tariff for cheap overnight rates. We have a Sunsynk 6kw inverter. I'm wondering if anyone on this forum has any experience with this setup and what the best configuration would be for the Sunsynk to work with that tariff? Thanks in advance
10 hours ago10 hr Hi @AlanPS67 , no experience with this lot, but I'd imagine you should be able to set things up, to mainly run off battery+solar when the tariff is high and then, run off the grid when the sun doesn't shine, depending on the SoC of the battery and even charge the batteries, when the tariff is low and the batteries need som charge returned to them...
