I have 6 x 560w panels and been a newbie I have a question, I was getting over 3kw of mid day solar power last week, after installing a larger inverter. Suddenly I am only getting 2.6kw from them same time of day, could a slight haze in the sky or dust (I live on a busy plot rd) be the culprit or did I mess up a setting on the inverter?

This type of variation can be completely normal if there is a hazy sky. If you live along a dusty road, maybe check if the panels aren't getting a layer of dust settling on them.

It could also depend on your loads, for example if the battery is getting nearly full, it might start drawing lower power from the panels.

Thanks, i was more concerned that I messed up the settings on my inverter, but there is a layer of dust on the panels, expecting rain this weekend so hopefully it will wash off, the haze is non existent now and there is bright sunshine and the watts are still the same at 2.6kw, not moving even after increasing the load with a hairdryer etc

The batteries are currently at 70%
