  1. Thanks Stefan, all from the same place👍
  2. I am looking for 350a 5 or 6 pole bus bar (x 2) plus a 250a dipole fuse disconnect. Any help would be appreciated

the length of the cable to inverter is 970mm, so this must be doubled for both negative and positive

Sorry late with this info The batteries discharge current is 100A The length of the cable to inverter is 970mm, so we can work off 1m each, I have 4 of these batteries in parallel connected to each other by 200mm cables

I cut some insulation off and the strands are coated, I scraped some and the strands are copper
  7. Elro replied to Elro's topic in Accessories
I will cut the insulation and expose the strands and send the pictures for clarification, I used the cable on the left of the first photo

    Thank you for the info.
  9. My 24V 200ah batteries came with what I can measure are 5mm core battery cables, I was not happy so used 8mm core battery cables. My question is why do they supply such thin core battery cables, surely it can be a fire hazard, I have attached a photo for size comparison

Has anyone had experience with Conderenergy inverters, specifically the model S-2752, 5kw 24V. I have not heard of this make.
  11. Elro replied to Elro's topic in Batteries
Ok thanks, will change to never, as my batteries have BMS connected with data cable

At what intervals should you equalize the batteries? Lithium batteries in particular, I have mine set at 30 day intervals.

Hi Everyone, would like to bring some levity to this discussion, this happened yesterday morning, I was sitting on the verandah as older people do with a mug of coffee contemplating the need for clouds when it isn't raining, solar people know what I am talking about. Suddenly my wife appeared with an extremely concerned look. Asked me to check the solar system. Any married man will tell you, you learn very early on to think fast on your feet. She led me to the pantry and explained what happened (the solar gods were smiling down on me). As she switched on the washing machine the inverter ramped up not from anything but a cloud moving past the sun. I walked over to the inverter grumbling in a manfully way and proceeded to go through the menu, I turned to her and said in the sternest way possible "you broke it". My brain could already see my second inverter arriving!!! Just then a cloud crossed over and the inverter slowed down from jet engine to a whisper. Her eyes lit up and asked if it was fixed. Remember I said quick thinking, I said to her "No, the inverter has gone into limp mode". Thought that was pretty good answer, but then the gods put an end to my scheme by letting the sun out again and it ramped up again. I could see the realization come over her. I got a punch on the arm and to make matters worse no second inverter ....yet.

Ye i have comms to the batteries, I dont have bus bars but that wont be a problem to install, I will just need to buy extra cable to connect the batteries seperately. Yes I am aware that the cables must be the same length, will the second inverter then also be charging the batteries?

Denns, this will definately be cheaper. I could do this much quicker than having to wait 3 years to go the 48v route. Another question, how would you split the batteries to the 2 inverters?
