2 Single Axperts migrate to Parallel mode

Featured Replies

Hi PF,

I have successfully upgraded 2  x  2015 Axperts firmware from versions 52.30 and 72.40 to 73.00e. Adrenalin pumping moments during the first newer 2015 model upgrade process @  version 72.40 with a fail on first try.I removed DC after powering off and waited

a minute before flipping the big DC switch and powering on with the Axperts RS232 connector on Com1 connection. Second time lucky.

The older 2015 model ran smoothly. This older model before and after the firmware ,did not want to allow change on  option 28 from SIG to PAR.

Anyone had the same parallel teething issues?

Thank you @Coulomb for the upgraded firmware. You are the real Axpert King !

Watchpower in off-line mode to change to parallel mode and administrator password to save settings.Shut off source and destination CB's and started the Axperts and AC sources and then AC loads. All is up and HS and SL Axperts displaying their modes.

You can only change that while the power switch (really the inverter switch) is off. Make sure that you have a charging power source available (i.e. PV or AC-in) when you do this, so it doesn't actually switch off.

Or as above, use WatchPower, though I never use it so I don't know the details.
