I have a 12kw off grid system installed, but my batteries only last  about 5-6 hours, i have four 4,8kw (100ah ) 48v lithion ion batteries connected into the system

My load during the evening runs at about 2,7kw

Any sugestions?

That sounds about right? 4*4.8 gets you just shy of 20kwh. 6*2.7 gets you to around 17kwh. Sounds to me like you either need more batteries or less load? 🙂

I have a 8800w usable system and pulling 1.5a it will last 20hrs.

You are pulling 11a.

Your inverter also use Watts to do its job. Is the 4.8kw down to 80% dod?
