May 29, 20197 yr Hello everyone, I aim to test the performance of a new technology of wind turbine in the real conditions of wind. so i think to use as component of my test bench : permanent magnet synchronous generator, a charge regulator, batteries and a load in order to discharge the batteries. but the problem is that the charge regulator doesn't allow me to measure the electric power in all wind speed range because it connects the battery only when the generator achieves 48V and it disconnect it when the voltage drop under 30V. PS: the characteristics of the generator are : rated power: 1000W Voltage: 48V could you please help me to find a solution that allows me to measure the power in all the wind speed range. Best regards,
June 7, 20197 yr Hope you well. How about a resistor to keep the Wind Turbine Loaded. I may have a picture of testing some time we did like this. Let me have a look. Sincerely Jason
