Flat Pylon Batteries

Featured Replies

My Pylon Batteries (x2 ) was Totally discharged  yesterday when  the  workman  were  drilling  on site .

How  do  I get  the batteries charged and  my Solar system  up ?

Thanks

If the batteries actually turned off due to low SOC then you may be able to get them restarted by turning the switches off and then back on again and then pressing the red button. If they are completely flat, then you should disconnect any loads before doing this to prevent them from being discharged any further. You will want to allow them some time to charge before putting any loads back on the system.

It depends on the kind of inverter you have. Some inverters cannot start without DC power, and if you need the inverter/charger for charging, then you're somewhat screwed. Mostly though, wait until you have sunlight, then turn the battery on while the DC-bus is already energized (via solar chargers or otherwise). Battery will start charging.
