OK, so I was not aware that the Goodwe 5048ES receives OTA firmware updates.  A day or 2 ago I was reading here on FW updates and came upon the dropbox download link - this is when I checked my firmware version 141406 - there were updates but I decided to not fix it if it aint broken .. 🐥🐥

Today the inverter reboot - after checking all the settings and data, I saw the firmware was updated to ver 171709.

 

No idea what changes were made though.
