Hello, I bought the InfiniSolar E 5.5KW, and every 15 minutes it reports an error 06. In the manuals it says it is an overheating error. It seems to be a problem in Firmware because the fans turn and cool in the power on process, and after that they don work. Do you know where the new firmware is. Has anyone already had a similar problem ?? Apologies in bad English.

Is it a fault or Warning?

If warning (I suspect), check Ground wire (Ground loss detected).

Should resolve the issue. If not, have you tried resetting?

Also listen for any hum coming from the inverter.

 

Ground is only connected to AC in, I assume AC in and AC out are connected ?? when it reports this error 06, the inverter goes into bypass mode, and after a minute or two, it works again. so every 15 minutes. I restarted too. the inverter is cold and the fans light up briefly after the restart. could it be because i didn't ground the ac output as well? i am sending pdf errors

Hello, i noticed it only works when there is no more sun. when there is no PV input. in the morning when the voltage appears on the PV, it works without problems. In addition, the grid overheats or something is not good in the firmware.

yes, there is an update that fixes the problem in ON mode but not for stand-by mode...the update changes the "Main CPU to 00000.34 and the Secondary CPU to 00000.38".
but first, contact customer service.

The problem is that I don't actually have an InfiniSolar E 5.5KW. I have a SOLE HYBRID 6500-48, which is the same as a InfiniSolar E 5.5KW or MPP SOLAR MPI HYBRID 5.5K and the problem is that nobody answers my questiononon  the sole-energy.eu site. MPP Solar says that SOLE is not their brand and Voltronic Power is not appearing because it is Chinese New Year. Knowing the Chinese, I believe they too will pass the ball on to someone else. So if you are familiar with the problem a little more, can you help me with the information, what were your experiences and do you have that update ?? Thank you

you must be patient, because despite this patch, there are still problems.

I too am waiting for answers from customer service.

if you're left alone without a solution and when all is fixed at my place I'll help you.

it would be nice to share the experience and help ourselves. I would be very pleased if I could send these files to my private mailbox because I am scared for my device. It is not a good idea to stop cooling so suddenly and start working again. I'll help you when I find out something from other emails I've sent ... I would be very grateful!

The device is now very good after the firmware update and procedures that had to be done by the hardware. I am satisfied, but it does not meet my needs with only 5.5 KW. I need at least 10 KW, and it can't be tied in parallel to take two. So I decided to sell it. if anyone is interested he can contact me in private mailbox.

After several months of use, I can say that my inverter is now working perfectly.

for information my Mpi 5.5kw was out of order because of a problem of load voltage at more than 60v.

this is a design problem because if you set the charge to more than 60V, the 5KP54A diodes heat up and explode as soon as the charge goes into "Floating" mode.

the notice is false, this equipment is not able to charge at 63V.

at home, I charge my PbCa batteries to 58.6V maximum and no more problems.

the SAV had provided me the infiniteE5.5KW Update190522 which did not prevent the 5KP54A diodes from exploding.

I think that he forgot to inform me that they had modified (notice of 2019-03-15) the connection of the temperature sensor.

But MPPsolar's after-sales service has been top-notch.

In 2 weeks, I received a new card (for 50€ + customs taxes but it doesn't matter) which had for only difference the modification of the probe connection.

For those who are abandoned by their SAV service or are no longer under warranty, I give you the latest firmware that Mppsolar gave me.
but if you have to install this update, you have to check that you have the new connection of the probe (from 20190315)

Well remember that if you make these updates, you lose the warranty. So I repeat if you have a problem, contact your SAV service first.
