March 8, 201610 yr I've started experimenting with biogas. It is actually very easy if you have the feedstock. I wrote about it here : Biogas from goat crap....... That was a crude experiment to see if it can work, the next step is to build a 1000l version in an IBC to try and run a single burner in the kitchen.
March 9, 201610 yr Author Nice. I have read about running diesel generators on biogas and apparently it is as easy as piping the gas into the air intake. Because the governor keeps the genny at constant rpm, as you pipe in the gas and the speed picks up, the governor backs off on the diesel. You need about 20% diesel to keep it firing.
