Batteries charged up to 56V Then switch back to solar until 50-51V, and then cycle repeats itself. Specially at night times, drawing from the grid to charge Batteries. Is this normal? Thanks Swannie

Normally, you would not set it up to charge from the grid and then discharge the battery, no. If your battery won't last the night, you'd want to switch to utility power when the battery is low, and leave it low until next day to charge from solar. So charge source priority (setting 16) would be set to OSO. However, with frequent load shedding, you probably want to keep the battery as close to fully charged as possible. Consider output source priority SOL (setting 01), which will switch the loads to utility at sunset, and battery at sunrise, switching to utility during the day only if the battery voltage falls below that of setting 12 (back to utility voltage). You would keep setting 12 fairly high to keep the battery fairly full under most conditions, while still making use of solar power to power the loads when possible.
