Wind Turbine with axpert inverter

Featured Replies

I have a solar system with 18 x 300W panels 2 x 5000w axpert inverters and 1 x 6.2 kw/h lithium ion battery, is there a possibilty to link a 5000w wind turbine on the system,?

I believe so. You'll need a separate wind power MPPT that connects directly to the battery. You might have to juggle the battery voltage parameters a bit so that the Axperts can get to float stage properly. Often that means setting the external MPPT battery settings (absorb/bulk/CV and float) to a little lower than the Axperts' equivalent settings.

The Axpert diagrams come with the user manuals.

Not for wind turbines, I think. My understanding is that the separate wind turbine controller would connect directly to the battery, and it would manage charging the battery via wind. The Axpert inverters would manage charging via their PV panels.
