Chris Hobson
MPP Solar has two new series, a SE series which has higher bulk and float charge settings (61V), and the MSD/MST series with multiple MPPTs. Now even TTT can equalise his Trojans. (Well nearly call me a liar for one volt or schedule your equalise for mid-summer when one should adjust charge voltages down.) ___ and Mark
Guest
Good to hear but why would I replace my trusted Morningstar? It could equalise all the batteries I tried since yonks ago, and it is not even a MPPT?

Chris Hobson
Does the Morningstar charge from grid too? Keep it for when you equalise. When you expand you PV array you going to need a MPPT. For the price of a MPPT you could get an Axpert which throws a useful inverter into the mix free. You could achieve nirvana without visiting Coffee Bay . edmundp
