I had a grid-tied system installed just before lockdown. I have since gone prepaid, converted to a gas hobb in the kitchen, installed a closed combustion fireplace in the main living area.

Looking forward to learn a lot and contribute as well.

Current setup was done by a local startup in my area, Roodepoort, Johannesburg. I am happy with their work and the technical support available 24/7. I am in no way a novice nor an expert , just a student in this journey. Decided to lay a foundation we can add to in future; I need about 4 more panels and 6 more batteries to be where I would like to be....offgrid!

2 X Voltronic Axpert 5000W/5KVA

18 X Ameri Solar 280W Panels

8 X 2.4KWp Lead Carbon 200A-12V Batteries

ICC Software and Raspberry Pi

Hi @Hwanano, welcome to the forum. Nice setup but why not lithium batteries from scratch? Reconsider this, especially because you're planning more batteries.
