I found this interesting quote within an article about Elon Musk's various businesses.

I assume they are referring to the Power Wall.

The 10kwh has been taken off the market? That article is old.

Tesla batteries looks awesome, but are over priced and may not be as good as advertised. Time will tell IF it ever gets to a store near you. 

I'm with TTT on this one. It seems one can get Lead Crystal batteries at the same price, yielding the same amount of duty cycles. They're easier to get hold of, work with more inverters and can be recycled easier. Re-read: cash back in your pocket. 

And you can install it yourself.
