Hi, the Inverter terminals can't take 16mm2 never mind 25mm2. The DB is protected at 63A. 10mm2 is greater than most installers put in. 10mm2 is great for the house as this is the cable size on my incomer. Even under loads close to 8kVa the cables are cool showing all is ok. (Geyser, tumble dryer, washing machine and dish washer). This is very rare. In fact I tested it under high load but so many appliances are never on together.

Thanks for clearing the terminal size up, if it can only take 10mm2 wire it means a maximum of 50A circuit breaker should be used to protect the wire. Thats looking from a C.O.C perspective. The 90A pass-thru is probably more of a safety factor for the inverter design. I will query this with Sunsynk, I recently made contact with them and they seem quite eager to assist.

Hi All, I had to move my critical earth leakage switch from before the Solar/Grid selector switch to after the selector switch. Putting the Earth leakage on the Inverter load (UPS) before the selector would mean no earth leakage when selected to Grid Feed. The PV's are coming on Tuesday after Easter. COC straight after that. I am keen to see the system working with the PVs. As it is now Eskom load sharing doesn't bother us any more.

Hi all

having connected my system exactly the way that TonyH has, my earth leakage connected to my critical supply trips, I have tried isolating circuits but to no avail, could it be that I am taking the live in from after the isolated and the neutral from before the house earth leakage
