Anyone have experience with Peimar 450W solar panels ? The brand does not seem to be very common in South Africa.

How do they compare to e.g. Canadian Solar/JA Solar panels ?

how much are they?

I got quoted 2,416.03 (excl) each - its part of a larger quote to upgrade my existing system.

I do not have experience with them but their price seems reasonable. JA solar has 455w ones around the same price 

Yea, my 1st quote actually included the JA Solars and there was only about a R25 difference. 

From what I can see from the datasheets it almost looks like the Peimar might be "better" 

• Peimar 20yr product warrant, JA Solar 12yr
• Peimar 30yr linear power warrant, JA Solar 25yr

In that case I would go for Peimar. That 20yr warranty is very attractive 🙂

That being said, I would perhaps research internationally and see what people say. I always say, try to stick to a tier 1 panel 

Had to google tier 1 panels and good to know I chose the right ones 🙂
