February 19, 20215 yr I'm trying to determine possible locations for my solar panels given the various shaded areas behind trees and roof shape. In any case, what is the lowest angle the sun will shine from in Pretoria? I know from the JRC calculator the panels should be at about 30°, but I can't figure out what clearance they need in front of them.

February 22, 20215 yr I guess so? All I really know from the above is that my roof is way too flat for optimal winter insolation 🙄
